I attended IT audit training by Winfinite Consulting in the 2nd quarter of 2022. The training covered the end-to-end process of executing an IT audit and ITGC. The course covered a wide range of topics, including general IT and application controls, various IT audit frameworks, IT governance and risk, IT compliance audits (such as SOX, PCI-DSS, and SOC), data analytics, infrastructure audits (including databases, operating systems, and network devices), and an introduction to cyber security.

One of the highlights of the course for me was the inclusion of industry case studies. These real-world examples really helped me to ace an interview with a major Canadian bank and the practical concepts learnt were also useful in passing my CISA exams.

Overall, I found the training to be very informative and well-organized. The lead instructor has over 12 years industry experience, she is knowledgeable, approachable, the materials provided were thorough and easy to follow, the training schedule was appropriate for busy professionals and the payment was also flexible. I feel much more confident in my ability to execute an IT audit thanks to this training. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to gain a comprehensive understanding of the IT audit process and IT governance, risk management and compliance.

I have just completed BIACP 7 weeks training course. Fola , our trainer was very knowledgable and her teaching skills were commendable. She was never in a rush to complete any topic and always made sure everyone understood the topic completely. Learning was mixed of both practicals and theories. Classes were interactive too. You don’t necessarily need to be from IT background to attend this class as the trainer will take you through from basics to advance. I highly recommend this course to anyone who is looking to start the career in IT audits.

The program has been nothing short of amazing. We hit the ground running from week one. Fola's intentional curriculum on the practical aspects of information security, controls, policies and frameworks is a must have, if you want to pursue a career in IT auditing.
