Took the dog for a walk through the trails in the snow. Beautiful even in the winter. Appreciate the new signage with information and history of the point.
So good... my kid’s love bird watching and following animal tracks in the snow.
Did you know that Princess Point is a tall grass prairie? Check it out! It's a great spot to take your kids and go for a little stroll. Or sit in the big red chairs and enjoy the view. Or launch your canoe here. Or paddle your kayak. Or watch the terns that migrate through in the fall. Or have a picnic.
This is a really beautiful hiking spot with trails that are not too intense for casual hikers. There is a large parking lot available nearby, and parking was free for us as we had purchased a ticket to the Royal Botanical Gardens. There is a lot to see in this area, so between the Gardens and this hiking trail, a visit could last you a whole day at least.
Amazing nature trail. Animals, forest, water, natural and man made seating around the trail. One of my favorite hangout spots and walking trails.
