“I had been wanting to visit the Serenity Ranch B&B for a while and we did it in November. We had an issue in our condo and wanted to escape the chaos. Serenity gave us exactly that and so much more. We truly enjoyed our stay and Shane is an extraordinary host. He went the extra mile to make sure we had a good time. It’s an awesome place for a weekend gateway from Toronto. It’s charming, beautiful, clean and very comfortable. My recommendation is go! You won't regret it! I don't write reviews very often, but this one deserves it.”

“We’ve bought real trees elsewhere and regretted it for the poor service and bad quality tree. Andrew’s was the most painless tree buying we’ve ever had. It’s easy to choose your tree because they’re all perfect shape and health. Don’t bother with the big box stores when this place is just down the street. The kids signed their names on the heritage plaque. Very cool. Tree looks great and smells great in the house. Thank you. See you next year.”

“Played today for the first time. It was certainly a strange experience. I had read some reveiws of the course and had been told some stories so I has some idea what to expect. Even so, I was still surprised by what an odd layout this. The first 8 holes are nothing special but from the 9th onwards it gets increasingly bizarre, with blind shots, holes with little or no definition and invisible landing areas. People say hole 10 is the craziest golf hole ever but I found 11 and 12 equally strange. It felt to me like whoever designed the course wanted to put as many gimmicks as possible into it. He succeeded. Lots of wear on the tee boxes, bunkers in absolutely terrible condition (they actually have a lift rake and place local rule !) greens very soft, shaggy and slow. This is a golf course that could be great with a little professional redesign and a lot of TLC. There’s is not lot of evidence of course maintenance. Club house is an unwelcoming, unairconditioned shack (it was 27 degrees today but we couldn’t sit outside because of the bees). Staff appeared to be in end of season mode. Not exactly unfriendly but more disinterested. I’ve done it, I won’t be rushing back.”

“First time I have eaten at Thai Tamarind; I ordered the Red Curry with Beef for take out. The curried dish came with a soup and a spring roll. The quantity of food was very good for a man my size while might be a bit much for a smaller person. The curry was flavourful but equally unremarkable, not at all spicy as I would have expected from a Red Curry. The rice was properly cooked and sticky and the quantity of rice was 'alright' for the volume of curry sauce of the meal. I would have preferred more sauce, but that too is a personal preference. The unlisted vegetable on the menu description turned out to be cauliflower which worked well with the plethora of bamboo shoots and a reasonable amount of beef. The spring roll was perhaps the highlight of the meal and the only memorable component that stands out above your average Thai Restaurant. Crispy and delicious while not greasy. The soup was okay. Quite literally nothing special. It didn't taste bad, it didn't make me want a second bowl... it was just alright. I'm glad I asked for chop sticks as Thai Tamarind did not include anything to eat the meal with. I ended up drinking the soup from the bowl. I will eat here again, if only because the next nearest Thai place is too far from work to make it there and back.”
