Nice quiet location.. Friendly staff.. Great hours
It’s a Gud place to sit n study for long
Having a really good experience here!
Used to come in all the time when I lived in the east end. Small library, but close to Eastgate, Dollarama, Timmies. I found the staff friendly
All of the Hamilton Public Libraries are awesome!! This branch has a quiet atmosphere (unless you're in the kids section). Decent amount of individual work space and is rarely "busy". Selection could be bigger but still a variety of fiction & non-fiction to choose from. Regular story time for kids and programming for everyone.
Overall decent space but could be updated. That being said, they do have a Makerspace here with professional level video and sound editing equipment - including a green screen. (You must register your library card to use equipment but it is free!)
Grab a snack & coffee beforehand if coming to work though as you will have to competently pack up cross a busy intersection to get to the nearest Tim's/coffee shop.
