Courtyard by Marriott Hamilton

The stay is usually pretty good.
On Monday October 12th, 2020 I had the worst time checking in.
The girl at the counter asked for PICTURE ID from me. When I explained to her that I had been staying here for over a month she literally called me a liar saying that "Our policy is to have an IDfrom everyone." I then told her that mine must be on file. She still wanted mine not believing me.
This is very rude coming from a costumer service person. I have worked in the field so I know how one should act. No please no thank you no sir no niceties from this girl at all.
I am wondering if it was because I am white.
The customer before me she was polite to and I believe he did not show ID as he had walked in only a moment before me.
Not only was this girl rude but this motel does not have a microwave in all the rooms. When my room was booked a microwave was requested for it. I get to my room and low and behold no microwave. So I had to go see the rude girl again.
15 minutes later I got a microwave.
For a person to travel a long trip and stay at a so called nice motel. You would expect a lot better customer service.
How can a big chain motel not have the comforts there for you?

Room is nice although somewhat small for 2 double beds. A/C is ice cold & shower products are pleasant smelling. T.V's could be bigger. Front Desk staff are pleasant & common areas are very elegant. Pool is on the smallish side but certainty a nice option to have & you can book a private time 30 minute time slot for yourself due to the Pandemic. I liked it over all.

Stayed here several times. Always comfortable, clean with friendly staff

I have to say that every staff member I engaged with at some point was positive friendly, aware of the social precautions and was extremely accommodating. And although nothing went wrong with our stay.. I will say the pool needs a new skimmer because the gentleman was very diligent to attend to the pool but the skimmer has a hole in it and needs to be replaced to be effective

I loved my visit at the Courtyard by Mariott Hamilton! The lobby is so open and chic, it made me want to hang out there. The fireplace looked especially cozy. I was presses by the number of meeting rooms and convention-like section of the building too. The eatery was closed due to covid, but judging by the menu, I would have wanted to try the food. From the pool and hot tub, you can access the large garden area with patio furniture, a waterfall, and a gazebo. The room was clean and welcoming-- loved that there was a second table on wheels where you can bring it to the sofa to eat. Being next to a graveyard, the whole place felt like it was from a Stephen King novel.
