I found out about this place 20 years ago, back when it was a closely-guarded secret; before there was a separate dining area, and you walked to the butcher counter at the back of the store and simply said, "Could I have a sandwich, please?". You'd get 5 kinds of meat, three kinds of cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayo on a huge hoagie, and back then it was 2 bucks, no tax. Then The Spec did a story on it and the secret was out. It is STILL a fantastic place to eat. The sandwiches are a little more expensive now, but so is everything else in the world, and they are still AWESOME. .

Stop in there for their quick sub sandwich, loaded with mortadella. If you're not into subs they have lots of others to choose from including hot dishes

These folks are great people. Awesome food and great prices. Go in and see, you won't be disappointed.
