“I found out about this place 20 years ago, back when it was a closely-guarded secret; before there was a separate dining area, and you walked to the butcher counter at the back of the store and simply said, "Could I have a sandwich, please?". You'd get 5 kinds of meat, three kinds of cheese, lettuce, tomato, mustard and mayo on a huge hoagie, and back then it was 2 bucks, no tax. Then The Spec did a story on it and the secret was out. It is STILL a fantastic place to eat. The sandwiches are a little more expensive now, but so is everything else in the world, and they are still AWESOME. .”
