I'll give this place on more star than Bayshore because they were admittedly a little more patient and kind with addressing my wife's complex health issues.

As with any nursing agency we've been with over the last ten years, there are always a few good nurses that put on a good attitude and work hard to be friendly, kind, and work hard to do a good, clean job without prying too much into our personal lives but do their best to be as helpful as possible, including my wife's case managers at each agency. They are the kind of nurses who you can tell were just meant for the job.

Not all of them are so great though. My wife and I have had really really extensive experience with multiple home nursing agencies and they're all the same. Bayshore as a company is no different. There's always quite a few who don't care, only think of patients as numbers and can't wait to just "get the job done", without any concern for patient's well being. They are often the nurses who speak to the patient and family with nothing but complaints about the job, oppressive micromanaging and and treating them as if they are merely a job to get done instead of human being worth respectful conversation and clean language.

No I'm not just some disgruntled, entitled punk. I have been dealing with the complex health care issues of my wife and nursing agencies for longer than most professionals have even been working for any of them. I know what I'm talking about from extensive experience.

A good number of the nurses are great and professional and kind, but Paramed still does need some improvement with the office staff and HOLY COW their phone system!! It's awful the way it's set up! Really inefficient. I'll give an especially big thank you to the nurse Katherine Cobbett (sp?). She was absolutely amazing and so caring and kind and skilled and professional!
