We love the Royal Botanical Gardens and we are members. We find the 90ish dollar fee are year well worth it. We didn't get to see any deer today but we did see a bald eagle!
This is one of the gardens available to visit as part of the Royal Botanical Gardens. There was a nice trail to follow, and lots of parking. I wouldn't recommend starting with this part of your visit to the Gardens, but it's still a good addition to the sites as a whole!
This is a place with a large variety of trees. It's not really worth going in the summer, but it's beautiful in the Fall. I'm also looking forward to visiting in the Spring to see the cherry, crab apple, and lilac trees in bloom. The pathways next to the marsh are also beautiful although not really suitable for a stroller, and definitely not for wheelchairs.
A jewel in the crown of Ontario. Wether you come from near or from far, it's well worth the visit.
The grounds are sprawling and every inch of them is beautiful. Even with the size, the facilities are very well kept and pricing for food and drink are very reasonable. Even the gift shop is priced well.
Having attended numerous events here, things are always well organized. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and seem to really care about the place. Truly a five-star establishment.
Beautiful facilities and beautiful gardens. I really like that once you pay the fee at one garden, you receive a stamp that gives you access to the rest of the Royal Botanical Gardens for the day. There are plenty of water features and varieties of flowers and vegetation to keep you occupied. Avoid the weekends in the summer though if you don't want to run into 5 different wedding parties. It's an extremely popular place for wedding photos.

RBG 's Arboretum is more like an English landscape park than a garden. As its name implies, this is the place where you can see a wide variety of trees and other woody plants up close.
