The good daughter is my favourite place to find a treasure, something wonderful that I have been craving for but didn’t know it until I found it- a piece of artistic history. Each featured artist has breathed life into a unique, one of a kind masterpiece from the most unexpected combination of materials. This welcoming space is Kelly’s vision and boasts not just the talents of the community but also the rich narratives that make the experience complete. It isn’t just a place to browse, but a place to make friendships, explore your inner artist in the Saturday workshops and capture a piece of Bancroft history. Kelly is both enchanting and entertaining in the context she provides for each piece sold in her store. She weaves an entertaining assortment of ideas, concepts and tales into one magnificent tapestry. My most cherished finds in the store are the lighted crystal tables from Bird’s Glass Creations, Pam’s honey and wood art carvings and the Nova Scotian landscape images created from the land itself.
