Quinte Dog Park

I like the park a lot, our dogs enjoy going there. It is spacious with great parking and easy access.
My only complaint is so many people are not cleaning up after their dogs when they poop.

Lots of space for dogs to run. Very clean. Lots of dogs to play with. Small and large dog areas. Good parking.

Great big dog park and fully fenced! Forest- like so great for a pup that likes to mark on trees. Little dog area is also vibrant and has great big stumps and trees to jump all over. Free parking right in front of the park!

Dog heaven. About 4 acres of enclosed space for dogs to run, dig, sniff, and leg-lift. Treed area to provide shade, two enclosed repurposed bus shelters, large water tank and lots of bowls to provide water for the dogs during spring/summer/fall. A separate area for small dogs with a mini cedar woods. Tons of wood chips for digging (my dog's personal favourite activity). The place can get muddy after a downpour or during spring thaw but the dogs seem to love it (be warned if you have a fluffy white dog or a fancy car interior!). Limited lighting at night. Smokers often ignore the non-smoking policy. Children should be attended as they can be bowled over by rambunctious big dogs enjoying a good run. Like all dog parks, use at your own risk: Some owners are less vigilant about their dogs' aggressiveness, take stock of the proximity between owners and their dogs. Some owners sit and smoke/chat for hours while their dogs roam & poop and leave it for others to clean up. Others sit and chat for hours but are careful to keep an eye out for the poopin' and scoopin' :-)
