“It is hard to put into words how thankful I am for the Staff and Volunteers at Hospice Quinte. I am not sure what is wrong with or hospitals but I left the hospital everyday feeling I let my mother down. Her stay was nothing short of horrible. I received a call asking if I wanted to move my mother to Hospice Quinte, I immediately said yes... The facility is unbelievable, they think of the patients and the families. The rooms are large, the beds are top of the line. When I arrived there was a volunteer sitting with my mother. The staff check in on her all the time, they shampoo her hair, new gowns everyday, my mother would smile when a staff member came in, I have to believe she felt someone cared. When my mother passed, I have to believe she died with dignity, like a human being! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Quinte, you are a special group of people that the world can use more of!”
