“One of the most relaxing places I have ever had pleasure to visit. Bedding and all little things that make staying here so special he pays attention to. Nice blankets sheets, mattress super comfortable, all utensils firewood all the things you need to make this an Incredible place to spend time. The property supports a local active farm been in family generations. Private quarry all to yourself to swim and cool off or just feed the tame fish, total privacy around the camp site, a very well equiped and clean outhouse. You could not ask for a more comfortable place to stay.”

“It was my first time going today. You have to pay $5 for parking. I found the trail really long and some areas are really woody (I did the whole entire trail both sides). I even got a little lost in there since the minor trails have no signage indicating wrong way and the main trail doesn't have any wood chips. If you follow alongside the creek you can find some really nice creek views too. I would diffinately try it out with a friend or a large dog. I took my dog and as required kept him on the leash and at point I had to carry him a bit cause he got too tired. It was well worth the $5 and delight to have in Belleville. I can't wait to try the other area south of Old Highway 2 and enjoy those water views as well.”

“Mount Pelion provides great views overlooking Trenton. If you want to visit, be prepared for a climb: getting from the parking lot to the top is about 80 steps. Another 20 or so will get you to the top of the metallic structure that gives you a view out over all the trees. When I visited, you could see aircraft from CFB Trenton flying around doing exercises.”

“Great little ski hill. All runs (except for one) currently open. Not long lines for chairlifts at all. Food can easily be ordered through their website and picked up conveniently at an outside window. Everything is really well organized and operating smoothly. Great way to spend an afternoon.”

“First of all, the park has new ownership and is now called Trent River Estates. We are seasonal campers and so far our interactions with the new managers has been excellent, with both of them always willing to give a helping hand to us "newbies". Sadly, before the sale, the campground had fallen into a poor state of repair. This said, after speaking to the new owner, I have been reassured that plans are in place to make necessary repairs, and to make general improvements to the park. Hopefully this justifies the significant increase in seasonal rates.”

“The oldest rock in Canada with 2.3 billion years old. Massive and impressive. And one of the largest boulder in North America. 6.5 m high, 13 m long. Moved 45 km by the glacier forces. Off the beaten path close to 401 and 5 min shaded easy hike from the parking. Good resting stop. Infested with gypsy moths, but well worth visit.”

“Excellent place to see a beautiful view. The forest is my favorite kind - soft pine needles with few bugs. The only downside was the portable washroom was locked. Make sure to not miss out on the lookout tower. Take the right path to go up hill and the stairs downhill for a more relaxed walk.”
