Friday afternoon is a real farmer's market of locally grown produce, baked goods, prepared food and wine. A place for kids to run through water spouts, swings, and climbing gym. Parking no problem, walk to the main street have a drink at the Albion, Black Dog, and other restaurants and locally brewed beer. Great little stores and boutiques.
As a town square & park it has a lot to offer. Plenty of free parking on 3 sides of the square. Right off the highway at Main Street. Mature trees fill the park. The splash pad with washroom/ change room is a great addition. Room for Farmer's Markets, picnics & gatherings, frisbee, catch, football etc. Walkways lead through the park in multiple directions. Playgrounds for young & older children are present. A great example for other cities & towns to follow: The design is simple but effective & easily upscaled or downsized to suit. Our family Reunion invades Bayfield every 2 years and Clan Gregor Square is a place many of us make sure to visit. Friday afternoon Farmer's market is a bonus.
We were wandering around tje outdoor market. The whole area was very clean and everyone was friendly. Most of the vendors had different products and we found some beautiful wind chimes to purchase
Very pretty park. Lots of shade and picnic areas. Hard to find a parking spot though.
It is a great place to take the grandchildren . They have a play ground and a splash pad. There are mature trees for shade. Take a lunch and have a picnic . They have beautiful picnic tables
