The Little Inn of Bayfield

We went to Bayfield for a weekend getaway to get away from the monotony of winter in the GTA. Bayfield is a sleepy town but even within the dregs of early winter, it's a very pretty area. The inn was cozy and comfortable and just what we needed. It is walking distance to a few choice restaurants but the neighbourhood is pretty quiet and peaceful.

We have been travelling to Bayfield for over 50 years and have always enjoyed the dining experience. Unfortunately, we did not have a positive experience this time. The food lacked flavour and visual appeal. The sevice in the main dining room felt akin to being in a hamburger joint. It is too bad that our experience was so dramatically different than what we have become accustom to.

The staff was absolutely fantastic from the front desk, the bar tenders and wait staff all were wonderful. The food and drinks were excellent. The room was very comfortable. Would definitely be back again.

My friend and I came here for a girls getaway night. Bayfield is extremely nice town with lots of tourist shops.
The lady at the front desk was extremely friendly. The room was small but cute. there was however a slight ant problem and the window did not lock. Dinner was delicious.
