Blyth Festival Harvest Stage

Great theatre. You can see the expansive stage from all seats, there are no bad angles. Loved the bin of warm blankets. Staff is friendly and helpful. Someone told me the coffee was excellent.

Very beautiful stage and seating tucked into a hillside, evocative location and good acoustics too. Almost an ideal place to watch drama, though it can get cold and it's nice to bring your own cushions. It's a bit of a walk from parking, so if you need the (much closer) handicapped parking it's best to reserve a spot from the box office. The Festival staff is engaging and helpful, but there are only so many spots.

I have tickets to all three Donnelly plays . The first one was Sticks and Stones and unfortunately the outdoor performance got rained out so it was inside . They still did a wonderful job but after seeing the outdoor performance of St. Nicholas Hotel we missed a lot of costume changes and other physical movements .
Saturday night's performance was both dramatic and funny . Different voices and people portraying horses was particularly funny . They did an amazing job on the set and costumes . Looking forward to seeing the last of the trilogy in August outside again . I would highly recommend these plays if you are interested at all in the Donnelly story . I commend the actors on the many roles they play . The stage coach and horses brought everything to life .

What an incredibly unique experience. It was magical sitting under the stars watching such a captivating show - The Black Donnelly's. Amazing actors and show. We loved it.
