“We have reliably used Ellison travel for many school trips to NYC (I think six by now). We have consistently found the company dependable and the staff outstanding in their commitment to problem solve, adapt our itinerary and take care of all the tiny details involved in a school sponsored trip. We have been wooed by competing travel companies over the years, but when it comes down to it we want the assurance of excellent customer care. We have had several situations where we have had to call our Ellison contact while we were in NYC for one reason or another, and every time without exception, the care and problem solving was just what we needed. A word on school trips: there is so much responsibility and due diligence placed now on organizers of school trips. I would caution anyone thinking of planning one to avoid the budget tour providers. For barely any more $$ you can have custom care from Ellison, the students can stay in safe and clean hotels, the meals are nourishing and the majority of the costs are included in the total price (including medical insurance). Also, should anything problematic happen to you or any of your trip participants that is the time when you will most need a reliable contact person (like the designate at Ellison) to help minimize the potential negative impacts of the situation. And if nothing goes wrong, you will return happy and whole having enjoyed a very well organized student trip! We give them five stars, outstanding professionalism and care.”
