“Kids loved the chicken strips, fries, and pizza night. The grandkids had fun playing on billiards table and pop while playing. It's called a bar & grill but the children are welcome. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place is at water's edge of the bay and marina. I liked my burger and fries with the broccoli slaw.”

“The food was absolutely fabulous this was our first time here the fresh homemade food came out faster than any chain and was absolutely top notch one of the best cheesesteaks I have had anywhere. The portions are generous and unbelievable quality. The staff came out to see our dogs just to give them fresh treats. I am very impressed we saw this place on our way to Kenora and saw how busy it was for a roadside restaurant and had to come back on our way home and we were so happy we did. We will be back soon for sure.”

“Great little store to meet your convenience needs on the north side of West Hawk, sandwiched between Long Pine and Macara lakes. If you like your vices, they sell cold beer and liquor. Hot tip: since this store is in Ontario, you save $23 in taxes on a carton of cigarettes compared to Manitoba. Also, you have to be 19 to buy alcohol. They sometimes sell a local history book of the area which is pretty cool.”
