Get over the tiny beach and you are in doggy heaven. Nice shallow wading area so both you and your dog can cool off. Popular with old, young and largest family groups. Confined beach, so if your dog isn't social with other dogs, kids or peeps in general, avoid like the plague.
Still one of my favourite beaches. 18 dollars for a day pass. Lake very high, not much beach left.
It's not the best beach on a busy day because there isn't a lot of beach and it gets crowded, but if you have a dog, it's pretty nice.
There's lots of dogs around and the water doesn't get too deep too quickly so there's lots of water area for dogs to play.
Great place to take your dog. There is a fair sized parking lot and is a short walk to the beach .You do have to pay to get in as it is a provincial park but we usually make a day of it . I wish they maintained this area like they do with other parts of grand bend The water isn’t the clearest and it’s pretty rocky but it would hinder us from visiting again .
The Pinery has lots to offer, binding/hiking trails, canoeing/kayaking/paddle boats, fishing, swimming and loads of amazing camping sites. They have a great variety store loaded with items you may have forgotten or snaks by the campfire. There is a spot where you can rent items for hourly or day use, and a very popluar ice cream serving Shaw's! Great place to spend a day or a weekend!
