“I was stuck in the middle of smalltown Canada and my gas gauge dipped below the E. This was the only place within range that I could get to, but found out on arrival that it was closed for the night (it was 9:30 pm and I am used to the all night Toronto gas stations). I called around and every gas station in the area was closed and there were no services available to deliver gas even if they had been open. I was unable to move my truck. After about half an hour, a couple came out to see if I was okay. It turns out they own the place, so they reopened the entire thing just for me. They refused my tip and just said they just wanted me to "get where I was hoping to go". Fantastic people out here. I would have been forced to sleep in the parking lot otherwise, delaying my work trip. I can't thank them enough.”
