Ian's Christmas Adventure Park

We take the family here every year to cut our own tree. It’s a magical experience and for us it kicks off the Christmas season. We love visiting the real reindeer, choosing the perfect tree (there are SO many fields of trees, so many different kinds, and SO many perfect trees that this always takes us a long time to come to a consensus!), then riding back on the tractor ride with our tree! Next of course we have to have hot chocolate at the bonfire! Staff are wonderful and take care of tidying up the tree and baling it. There is a cosy cabin to warm up in if you get cold.
I can’t imagine how any family with kids would choose to get a pre-cut tree from a lot when this wonderful outing is the alternative!

We had a great time with our whole family, which included grandparents and toddler. Tree selection was impressive, everyone went home very satisfied with their purchase. Because of the other fun activities, we made a real event of our outing and was definitely worth the very reasonable drive from Ottawa. We hope to make it a tradition and go back every year. Also, Santa was walking around greeting children and he was so sweet. He took time to chat with her and it was just such a highlight for her. In fact all the staff were kind and approable, it helped put us in the Christmas spirit!

Christmas trees, wagon rides, fire pit, Santa, reindeer and candy cane lane. It’s a good way to spend a morning and get in the holiday spirit. Complementary hot chocolate too. Bring your own snacks or lunch to enjoy on the picnic tables by the fire or in the warm up hut. There is only hot dogs for sale and nowhere close by for food.

Great place to bring the whole family to find a Christmas tree. There was no snow on the ground when we went so some of the activities were not available, however there were plenty of other things to do. Cut your own tree or pick a pre-cut one from a large selection. The staff was nice and helpful.
