“Great paddle with a kayak or canoe, can be a bit windy and the current a bit strong but still manageable. I have to say probably the friendliest place in Ontario if not the top three. Most of my time was spent chatting with people on the river, in the park and from river side cottages. The launch at the park is a beach so easy to launch your kayak or canoe.”

“We had a great time with our whole family, which included grandparents and toddler. Tree selection was impressive, everyone went home very satisfied with their purchase. Because of the other fun activities, we made a real event of our outing and was definitely worth the very reasonable drive from Ottawa. We hope to make it a tradition and go back every year. Also, Santa was walking around greeting children and he was so sweet. He took time to chat with her and it was just such a highlight for her. In fact all the staff were kind and approable, it helped put us in the Christmas spirit!”
