“I had so much fun at Viva Villa I did not want to leave. Between playing horseshoes, using their canoes/boats, biking, swimming, and enjoying their fire, I never lacked things to do. Even after getting too much sun, they had satellite TV to watch while relaxing, or wildlife to watch in the river. Kate and Scott are so friendly and accommodating, I felt very welcome. Groceries and restaurants are so close there isn't much need to venture far. I definitely recommend staying here. The price is right! 👌”

“This resort is the best place we could find in Manitoulin island. Cabins are clean and organized, 4 of them are right at the lake, each has its own fire pit and barbecue, heating system and fan in case it’s too hot. Location of the resort is also very good. 3-5 minutes ride to Bridal Veil Waterfall, LCBO, Gas station, Coffee shop, farmers market and more. But the most important part is the owner’s’ attitude and care. Both of them are very nice and doing their best for guests. It seems like they are doing this business for not making an income but for their joy. We had a minor issue during our stay, but they went above and beyond to solve it and satisfy all of us. Thank you guys for everything. Highly recommended for families!”

“The waterfront is under construction at the moment. The beach access has a wheelchair accessible ramp in place now and the road has been regraded and paved, with sidewalks added. Parking is minimal. It appears that Kagawong is entering the modern age after much resistance. The main dock at the marina will be needing an upgrade next, for a finishing touch to beautify the waterfront.”

“Had a great stay at this park, the trailer we rented was well stocked with dishes and cutlery and comfortable for the three of us. Steve and his wife were wonderful hosts and very friendly. A playground for the children would be really great to add to it for future camping, we will be back next year for sure reasonable rates”

Public washroom also available in the old Mill Large updated playground for the kids. Right next to the old Mill. Plenty of parking available. No dogs on the beach though and it's unsupervised.”

“Wow! Even open in the middle of January. Had a great selection of coffees and some treats. They also sell a few antiques and unique decoration all items. Don't forget to visit the upstairs, while you are there. The stairs are easily missed. I am glad we stopped by and will do it again.”

This spa offers a variety of services: Manicure, Pedicure, Reiki, Massages, Float therapy, cupping, facials, reflexology, saunas, hot tub and more. Also shamanic services are on offer e.g. Soul retrieval and extractions. The shop offers a variety of merchandise: lip balms, bath bombs, essential oils and other body care products, crystals, salt lamps, jewelry and more. “An icon in the Community, this multi-purpose facility is available for rent through the Billings Township office. Upper level features a vaulted ceiling and kitchen, with a wheelchair accessible entrance off of Henry St and an accessible washroom at the north entrance. The lower level has a kitchen and is popular for smaller groups, has two washrooms and is also wheelchair accessible. Large gravel parking area and a view out over Mudge Bay and beautiful downtown Kagawong rounds out this gem.”
