(January 24, 2022, 9:38 am)I fell in love with Manitoulin Island and Dawson Resort back in 1964. The owners were Nelda and Colin Montgomery the nicest people I have ever met. They did everything to help me enjoy my vacation. Rustic cottages, very clean, great fishing. Here I am 58 years later and heading back to Manitoulin Island again.

Rustic, calming, inviting, not to mention great fishing, friends and scenery best describe the resort to me. The owners are about the nicest people on earth and bend over backwards to help you enjoy your time.

(September 14, 2021, 4:35 pm)Just had a lovely relaxing week at Dawson Resort. Weather was a tad chilly at times but the fireplace and generous firewood supply helped with that. Well maintained and comfortable clean cottages. Helpful people. Manitoulin is a beautiful island with great sunsets. Hope to be back next year.
