I love this resort as a place to run my retreats, they're lovely people and very accommodating! The grounds are well maintained and the cabins are comfortable and cleaner than most hotel rooms. The gas appliances and washrooms are convenient, and the location is incredible. Looking out on the lake as soon as you open your door is wonderful! We were able to use the docks for yoga and workshops, and lots of space for workshops. I can't wait to come back for another year!
Great place to stay when visiting Killarney. Close to many hiking trails and lakes for kayaking. Complementary park pass is great! Beautiful views from the docks and Tyson lake has great kayaking. Very well kept clean cabins as well as washrooms. Cabins have everything you need. Owners are very friendly and made sure we had lots of fire wood. We have been three times in the last year and a half and will definitely be back again. Great to go in the fall to enjoy the fall colours or summer for swimming and kayaking.
We came here for a fall stay and it exceeded my expectations. The cabins and washrooms were so clean. The cabin we stayed in had all utensils we needed and a beautiful view of the lake. The complementary firewood, canoes and free park pass to Killarney was so convenient. Chris was very friendly and made sure fire wood was stocked all the time for us. Definitely pick this place if you are planning to go to Killarney.
We booked the Tipi to stay for one night before heading out on Killarney for a back country canoe trip and when we arrived there was quite a storm brewing and the owner offered us a cabin. The cabin was very comfortable and had a gas stove and fridge, running water and solar grid powered light. It was perfect for a night stay and would be great for longer term. There was full use of the lake and canoes if we wanted but we had to get on the road early.
Being off grid for a few days was exactly what I needed. The fishing on Tyson lake was great, and the hikes in Killarney park we're incredible.
The property is well kept, and Chris and Sue are very accommodating hosts.
