Basil Grover Park

If the City had not destroyed history and put a dangerous eye sore of a washroom(looks like a barn) and blocks downtown view and is another stress for care givers ...blocks views of children being able to run and play. All this for unmaintained washrooms that are open for 2 months??? I would have given it five stars otherwise.

It's a nice park. Climbing equipment is great for toddlers but not as good for 8-10 year olds. Parking lot is only half paved with one side gravel so if it's raining it can be very muddy. The skate park is a very nice touch, and there's public bathrooms available.

Yes there's a playground there and skatepark and they got a big feel there in the winter time is great for tobogganing

Pretty decent park. Although it's large and so there's lots of room to play away from the road, it's still on a major road so something to consider.
The playgrounds are quite decent too. There's 2 separate ones, one of which is clearly for smaller kids.
There's benches, chess tables, and plenty of parking.

Amazing peaceful place. Not crowded but very beautiful and equipped
