Lesley went above and beyond when working with my son. He learned so much in a short time, not only about the specific musical theatre songs we were practicing for an upcoming competition, but also about singing and performing in general. Within the first few minutes of our virtual lesson she had managed to construct a positive and encouraging relationship with my son. After our lesson, my son said “Lesley is amazing, mom. She’s awesome!” She really cares about her students and her passion for developing “the dream” is infectious. James was inspired. With an impending move from SK to ON, my 9 yo grandson began virtual voice lessons with Lesley. Lesley has inspired, encouraged and challenged him resulting in increased confidence in his ability and improved self esteem. His natural music talent is maturing and he is open to trying new things and stretching himself. Now in ON he continues with virtual lessons. Lesley is top notch. During these crazy times, Lesley has helped to maintain some stability and normalcy. Even me, who can’t carry a tune in a bucket, has come to appreciate music through her afternoon live concerts. Now, when so many things are limited, could be the perfect time for voice lessons with Lesley.

Lesley Andrew has been my vocal coach for the past 9 years. I have learned everything I know about music from her. I started singing from the age of 3, then as I got older I decided to take lessons and found Lesley. Lesley got me into singing classical music and encouraged me and supported me throughout my entire journey. Because of Lesley I was able to pursue Music at the post secondary level at the University of Western Ontario where I graduated with a Bachelor of Music (specialization in voice). Lesley is the most talented woman I know in the music field. Without her I would not be where I am today or have come anywhere close to this far in my career. Her kind heart, constant love and support towards her students does not go unnoticed. She loves what she does and puts her students FIRST above anything. This is why I have worked with Lesley for so long and will continue to do so because she is REAL. She is someone who I (along with so many others who are able to study under her umbrella) truly look up to and someone who I can never thank enough for all she has done for me not only as a music teacher but as a mentor. She is overqualified in what she does in all aspects of music. From music theory, piano, acting, performing and teaching various genres of music professionally worldwide and well as teaching ALL age groups! Lesley is very well known and qualified in this field and anyone wanting to start out with singing lessons should definitely join her studio especially during these times. Music has the power to bring us all together and truly help us discover who we are by expressing ourselves which benefit all aspects of our life. With the proper coaching from Lesley you will be able to achieve anything you set your mind for.

My daughter has been with Lesley for years and we can not say enough about how wonderful this experience has been. She tailors her lessons, to the interests and strengths of her pupils. Her talents and warmth are shared each lesson and she celebrates new skills wholeheartedly. My daughter has benefited not only in her vocal ability but also with her confidence and knowledge of Music. Lesley also has planned recitals to showcase the achievements of her students that have been inspiring to witness. We are so fortunate to have had the Dream in Progress experience and value the time with Lesley Andrew beyond measure.

Lesley has been teaching my son vocal lessons for about 7 years now. She has been nothing short of remarkable! Not only the artistic growth, but also the growth in confidence we have seen is astounding. Lesley is a great person who is able to motivate, engage and bring her students up to the next level.
