Away Cabins

Just spent the weekend with a group of good friends. The Away Cabins is beautiful, located lake front oversees the lake no instructions. You can play paddle boats, BBQ, jacuzzi,. Cabins are very clean. Everything is adequately provided. Very satisfied

My partner and I spent one of the most memorable weekend at the Away Cabins, and are planning to go back every year. Nestled on a beautiful, idyllic property, the cabin is a place of tranquility and charm.  It was super clean, comfortable, and well maintained, both inside and out.  We spent our weekend relaxing out on the dock, kayaking, paddling, and swimming by day – and barbecuing, roasting marshmallows, and watching the sunsets and stars by night. We cooked amazing meals in their beautiful kitchen, which had every pot, pan, and utensil that we needed.  The beds were new and very comfortable, and we slept well every night.  We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to go back with our friends & family!

We stumbled upon this hidden gem on Instagram and chose it for a memorable weekend escape with my girlfriends. The cabins surpassed our expectations with their breathtaking beauty and were thoughtfully furnished with all the amenities we needed. We had our own well-equipped kitchen, glass-shower bath, BBQ, deck, TV and fireplace. The outdoor patio quickly became our favourite spot for stunning sunset/evening hang outs.

The cabin we stayed in was exquisitely decorated and the jacuzzi on the deck was an absolute delight, providing a retreat where we could relax and unwind. We also liked their spacious common area for a quiet afternoon reading and lounge.

The host was incredibly responsive, promptly addressing any questions we had and ensuring that our stay was hassle-free. The cleanliness of the cabin was impeccable.

All in all, this weekend getaway was a remarkable experience, thanks to the stunning cabins, their impressive amenities, and the host's attentiveness. Will definitely be back!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this cabin, and it exceeded all our expectations. The views from the cabin were absolutely stunning. Waking up every morning to the sight of the serene lake and the surrounding natural beauty was a pleasure.
The hosts of the cabin were absolutely fantastic. They were friendly, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable.
The interiors of the cabin were tastefully decorated with an elegant touch. The attention to detail in the design and furnishings added a touch of luxury to our stay. It truly felt like a cozy retreat with a touch of sophistication.
Overall, I cannot recommend this cabin enough. We look forward to returning to this cabin in the future and creating more wonderful memories.

Definitely my new favourite cottage in Ontario. Brand new for 2023, this cottage is very cozy with a gorgeous view of rice lake towards the west. The cottage itself is very clean and spacious with each unit has its own kitchen and bathroom. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back with my friends and family. What a gorgeous place!

Tip…make sure you follow Merill road to come here as GPS will direct you to a different road with a dead end.
