We spent 5 days here and enjoyed our stay. Very friendly staff and a very kid-friendly facility with lots for them to do. It was a very nice break from the provincial parks, and the kids are already asking to go back.
Awesome KOA!! James gave exceptional service! Lots to do there with a nice pool, 2 playgrounds, a bouncing platform, a zip line, connect 4 game and a beautiful park area. There was a nice nature trail walk, a big dog park and a chip truck open 4-8 daily. Ice cream was sold everyday from 2-2:30 too! The bathrooms were very clean, the garbage was pickup up and emptied in a timely manner, the grounds were kept very neat and clean. Firewood was sold for $12 a bag from the store. The store had a great selection of products, from clothes to camping supplies to a slush ie drink and treats! This a a beautiful campground and worth the visit. We stayed at a cabin K3 and it was great for a family of 4. 5/5!! We will return and highly recommend this campground!!
This park has 3 rows of sites running north from the pool to Telephone Rd. Rows A and B are pull through with full hookups on all of them but the two furthest north sites, where there is water and power only. Row C is back-in. Rows D and E are seasonal spots. Row A sites 1 to 7 face the playground, which is open 24 hours a day. In my experience, children and frequently their parents use those sites as a shortcut to the playground, which may be problematic if they hit your sewer or power cord, or if you have a dog. The pool is very nice and well maintained. Washrooms are clean and safe. The park is generally very well maintained. The proximity of the 401 provides a constant background noise that some may find annoying. That also makes it a great spot to pull off for an overnight if you are travelling. Watch for speed bumps.
Canada day long weekend spent at the Brighton KOA. The customer service was above and beyond my expectations. As a first time owner of a travel trailer, a big shout out goes to Brodey who backed my trailer in and help level it. The activities for the kids were great, the pool was perfect and the 2 parks were enjoyable for my little one. The washrooms were clean and the hair dryer, for a wet and rainy weekend, was a bonus. The campers kitchen was another added delight. We will certainly be back. Rain or shine, we had a fun time.
Very clean campground. Just visited for a short time.
