“Nestled In is situated in a peaceful country setting with a great view. It is a cosy, comfy, spacious retreat away from home that has been tastefully decorated with an added flair. The breakfast was yummy, prepared by congenial hostess Brenda. A private walk-out entrance is a plus. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities more than adequate. There are many ammenities to make your stay a most enjoyable one. We will definitely be returning.”

“Definitely my new favourite cottage in Ontario. Brand new for 2023, this cottage is very cozy with a gorgeous view of rice lake towards the west. The cottage itself is very clean and spacious with each unit has its own kitchen and bathroom. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back with my friends and family. What a gorgeous place! Tip…make sure you follow Merill road to come here as GPS will direct you to a different road with a dead end.”

“We had a wonderful stay here! It’s a gorgeous home, decorated very beautifully and thoughtfully. Rose greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around. The room where we stayed (upstairs) was very spacious. The bed was super comfortable. Nice big bathroom with a medicine cabinet full of toiletries stocked for us. We weren’t sure if the AC was on but we opened the windows and turned on the fan and with the cross breeze, we were very comfortable. Rose served us a delicious breakfast the next morning. We didn’t see the other couple who had stayed there, she has it set up so that our experience felt very private, which also made us feel better with COVID cases on the rise. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Rose, for the lovely stay!”

“Our stay here surpassed all our expectations - the beautiful location, the relaxed and tranquil atmosphere, the great meals..but the best part was being able to just wander around and experience the sanctuary. Watching the animals enjoying their best lives by just being themselves was such a treat and an antidote to the stress that city living can bring. We especially enjoyed spending time with Cornelius, the friendliest turkey. Kat was a wonderful host- very low-key and accommodating and she gave us helpful tips about visiting the area and great places to eat. We're looking forward to returning sometime in the near future.”

“We had the whole upstairs, one room our bedroom, a nice bathroom, and the other room for breakfast. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was well stocked. The cottage is one street over from downtown Brighton. There is a hot tub for guest use and it was nice but too cool.”

“Would be great if a part of the enormous beach was set aside for people with dogs. It's not like there's no space for that. If you allow pets on camping grounds, it only makes sense to allow the same families or persons to enjoy the beach too, not ban them for having dogs. Otherwise, less privacy than at other parks, the greenery between the sites is barely there, not sure why it was necessary to decimate it. One can hear every single word the neighbors say and can only hope they don't stay late. The place itself is a gift, a beautiful place. The marshes are impressive.”

“John ended up giving me a call back after I couldn't get through to them. Asked if they accepted dogs and he happily said he did. Most of these other motels and hotels in area don't allow pets or say they allow pets but then when you mention you have pets they "magically" don't accept pets. Had rooms available and he was very kind. Should I make my way to Belleville/Brighton area again, I will ensure I get a room with this hotel/motel.”

“HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Our family rented the entire property for a large family reunion. There's plenty of space. Most of the bedrooms are huge. The stone house is gorgeous dating back to the early 1800's!!! It being pet friendly was a bonus with the entire separate yards being fenced with chain link. No need to spend extra money on kennels! There is a pool, a courtyard for tennis, basketball etc..., numerous swing sets for the kids, and we had camp fires to round off the day. The manager is a chef and we asked him if he could make us a meal Saturday evening buffet style. He delivered and then some!! Best of all? When you enter your house, there is a fresh loaf of sourdough bread wait for you with a welcome message and a handy book made up with all there is to do in the area. Thinking ahead to snowmobile season as they are also just off the trails.”
