(October 13, 2018, 10:04 am)MacKechnie House is a 18's century beautiful home, located 3 minutes by car from Cobourg city center (historic center) or 10 to 15 minutes walking distance, in a quiet area. We got a really nice and spacious bedroom with a beautiful garden view. The bedroom and bathroom were really clean and we also had a small kitchen area to keep some drinks in a small refrigerator. The breakfast was delicious and Cathryn was always helpful and friendly. The wifi was working well and we could work in the living room with our computers. We totally recommend this place for those are looking for a quiet place to stay. It was a great experience.

(October 11, 2018, 2:20 am)Planning everything for my wedding with Catherine was easy. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a lot of great suggestions. She had a solution for every problem and the house is gorgeous. If you're looking for a bed and breakfast with an alternative antique feel, this is it.
(February 27, 2017, 12:58 pm)Located very close to downtown Cobourg, this is a lovely restored Greek revival house with antique furniture in each room. High ceilings, spacious centre hall staircase and grand bedrooms. Wonderful breakfasts. Also, owner Cathryn is a professional caterer and special dinners can be arranged in advance. Perfect for a romantic getaway weekend.
