Castleton Hills RV Park

We booked a tent site just for the weekend, and were still made to feel welcome and comfortable the whole time- definitely not expected! Neighbours in their RVs are close, not much privacy but we didn’t spend much time at the site with so many things to do. We were quite hesitant about swimming in the pond, but with 2 fountains and an outlet pushing algae to the river, only a bit of algae was at the beach area which is on hard packed sand (not mushy!) and it was great water temperature and has a great water slide!
Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean and open (if you’re looking for something open during stage 3 Covid). As well there is a little playground and barn of animals and huge Northumberland nature forest is 15 min. away for hikers. They sell farm fresh eggs at the RV Park office so stock up!

The owners are super friendly and welcoming.
The park was very clean,
with an amazing atmosphere.
We will definitely visit again.
Even during this difficult time of covid, people managed to still be welcoming and friendly, during social distancing rules and regulations.

Beautiful quiet place to sit back n relax.

Best place to go camping in all of Ontario. Most fun you'll have all summer.

We had a great experience at this place. We rented a cabin up on the hill. It was very peaceful. The whole park itself is a great spot for nature lovers. The cabins were very clean and well maintained. Would definitely go again!!
