“What a fantastic dining experience! If you want truly authentic Italian food, you must dine at Pomona. Lisa and her husband are the ultimate restauranteurs, they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The dishes tasted just like my nonna used to make, it was an absolute feast for the senses. So much of the food is sourced locally, and you can literally taste the love in each dish. We started with the burrata, melanzane and shrimp for our appetizers, pasta bolognese, pasta alla genovese and mushroom marsala for our mains, and torta alla nonna and crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I had the added bonus of enjoying a wonderful Calabrese conversation with Lisa, a special treat that happens very rarely. Looking forward to going back and enjoying more fabulous meals and conversations.”

“Opening day, they were very busy.I Ordered 2 Bam burgers and 2 onion rings. There was a wait but expected on opening day. Burgers were good, nicely seasoned home made patty. Char grilled flavour was good. Small mistake on my Burger had a pretzel bun instead of sesame however I really enjoyed it! Nice to have a good burger place in Colborne.”

Tracy was very helpful in our initial booking and very understanding when adjustments were made to our original plans. Mike lead the set-up team, and they showed up when they said and took their time making sure we were happy prior to their departure. The next day when we were setting up the tables and chairs, I had to contact Mike when I realized we were short some table covers. He came all the way from Montauk to hand deliver new covers directly to my wife and I, all the while maintaining a professional, positive attitude. Needless to say, I would definitely use Encore Tent again!”
