Plank Road Cottages & Marina

We rented a pontoon here from Angus and Clara back at the beginning of September. They were really helpful with setting us up with places to checkout and avoid. They gave us a quick tutorial with using the pontoon and this was my first time boating after getting my pleasure craft license so it was a bit nerve wracking but Angus explained it well. Conveniently located around the middle of Rice Lake. They have worms too for fishing. Pontoon was well kept and had a live well in the back and a fish finder as well. Enough gas for all day. Would definately consider visiting again to rent from them.

We had an amazing weekend at the cottage! Angus and Karla are very good hosts and very accommodating. Our cottage,#8, was very clean and beautiful inside. We will definitely be coming back. Didn't catch any fish by the dock but next time we will go out with a boat. We actually missed the place.

Excellent place to spend time with family and friends. The cottages overlook a beautiful lake and the location feels quaint and comfortable. The owners showed great hospitality throughout our stay. Had a lovely time with my friends and would gladly go again!

The location is very beautiful. If you want a small get away with your family, this is the place to do it. The staff is extremely nice and generous people. I had an amazing experience and made fun memories here. If you’re also looking for a place to just chill and have fun with your friends i definitely recommend this. the cottages are very cute and have a very nice view of the lake. 10/10 would definitely go again.

We had a wonderful stay at Plank Road Cottages. Carla and Angus were great hosts and very accommodating for our large group. The cottages were well kept and had everything we needed for our stay. We had fun using the kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and pontoon available at the cottage. The kids had a great time fishing the lake. We will certainly return to Plank Road Cottages for more fun times!
