We stumbled across this restaurant yesterday wanting to try something different. It's definitely a hidden gem. What it lacks in ambience (it's small and unpretentious) it makes up for in amazing food, value and service.
We were a party of 4 so we shared several dishes, the tofu and mushroom was amazing, so we have so much more to try on the menu. We'll definitely be going back.
This is a little gem of a restaurant. The food is amazing and the service is great! Burmese cuisine is very flavourful. The ingredients are simple but tasty. The green tea leaf salad is a must. I had been before but I brought my mother and my husband for the first time and they both loved it. Thank you for a great dinner!
We went last night. We had the green tea leaf salad (mmm so crunchy and tasty), the coconut chicken (so soft) and the eggplant. All good choices. We were very happy with everything. I don't think I've ever been to a Burmese restaurant before here, but if they are all like Rangoon, I'll definitely be going more often!
Don't sleep on this place! I have been here a few times and loved the traditional dishes. I recommend the coconut chicken and the green tea leaf salad . Also tried the cassava coconut cake which is really good if you like rice pudding.
We went here last night and had a great time! I highly recommend the Green Tea Leaf Salad, the Beef & Fresh Basil Stir Fry, and the Chicken. I would definitely return to try other things on the menu, they have spicy and not-spicy options. The owner was very nice, visited our table, and we talked a lot about Burma/Myanmar. You cannot go wrong here!
