Rideau Optometric - Place d'Orleans

It was my first visit with Dr. Sheldon. He's a great guy, thorough, polite, very explanatory if asked questions, he is just great at what he does. No complains about him and his staff whatsoever. I'll be using his services from now on.

After travelling across the city via public transit only to be refused service by the Rideau location for being 12 minutes late, I was rebooked here on a following day. I arrived early due to company’s strict 10 minute late policy. Appointment was for 1:30. The optometrist did not see me until 1:57. Leaves me with the impression that the company values their own time but not my own. I understand delays happen so I’m willing to accept it. It’s just a shame they accept delays on their end but not the client’s. They should revise their hypocritical and self-serving policies. Other than this, staff was kind and helpful.

Dr Sheldon Butler is my Optometrist. He is extremely patient and professional. He takes time to understand concerns and explains what he is doing. Appointments are on time, and staff are friendly and efficient. Wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Had the opportunity to be new clients at the clinic today. The office is modern, bright and clean. The staff were super welcoming, friendly and made our experience a breeze.

Crystal Chan made our visit extremely easy. Not only is she very professional but she instantly puts you at ease. I highly recommend switching Optometrists!
