“Great service, plenty of menu options and excellent quality food. It is a bit pricier but it is a hotel restaurant so this is to be expected. They were also great with special requests! Pictured is the avocado toast (must have) and the fruit cup.”

“The smell of all good things cooking fill the air as you walk in. Superb flavouring on the vegetables and chicken. Sauces for the potatoes and wrap hit that hunger. Very nice place to sit down and enjoy your eats from a great family run restaurant that will treat you to outstanding service. Thanks and see you soon!”

“Amazing experience having Chef Lucky do a Celebratory dinner for 8 in my home. Each course was absolutely delicious and myself and my guests were blown away by his professionalism and his friendly presence and explanation of courses throughout. He absolutely delighted all when I shared he quietly handed me a meal for my sister who was unable to attend as she was in hospital! I’ll be booking in the future.”

“We had hired Lou Fast Food to come to our office for a 50 person company lunch. They were early to arrive and very friendly. The menu selection was excellent, the portions were generous and it was delicious! The food came out very quick and they were very organized. We will definitely do another food truck lunch with them in the future.”

“On the East end of Sparks Street this New Bike Cafe is geared towards cyclists and recreational riders alike. Built into the Retro-Rides store, one can walk inside with their bike (while wearing a mask) order up a Large Brew Coffee or any number of different caffeine drinks along with some nice scones or muffins to top the ride in off. Seating space is a very large roped off patio area that places you in the center of the traffic of Sparks street. With music playing in the background and tourists and citizens traveling the cobble stone road. It is definitely a great place to stop for a refreshment.”

“As I work nearby, I have come here many times to buy baked goods and (less frequently) eat lunch. I have found many of their items to be quite good, like their lemon tarts, cookies, and potato salad. Other items have been so-so. For instance, during my latest visit I found the green pea soup to be very watery, while my tomato and brie sandwich was just OK. Overall, this is a perfect place to have a coffee, treat, or small dish like a salad, but there are better places in the area for those who want a heartier meal.”

“I have gone here many times for lunch as I work nearby. I always make sure to order a sub as I find the bread better, while my favourite is when they prepare falafels. (Sadly, they are only currently offering falafels on Wednesdays as of writing on October 3). My only quibble is that I find the prices a bit high, but I enjoy the sandwiches enough, as well as the occasional butter tart, to keep coming back.”

“Centrally located ethical coffee shop with young and enthusiastic staff. Well priced. Sadly people seem to come in and leave very quickly- and don’t stop to chat or have conversations in this nice place as much as it could be a community hub for both locals and visiting individuals or small groups.”

“Bought a breakfast bagel and coffee combo through the ritual app. Very reasonably priced and the coffee was tasty. Egg, cheese, hold the ham on bagel was very salty. I think they put some sort of seasoning on the egg that added flavour but a little too much sodium for my liking. Located in a busy food court (10:30 am on a Thursday). Although I ordered through the app, they made sure to pour the coffee once I got there to ensure it was still hot. That’s good service.”

“Great Place. I must say, the staff is always smiling and friendly. I usually take breakfast sandwiches as they are amazing. For this time, I took a bacon cheeseburger. It looked great, good taste, however, the only issue I had, and it was a bit messy. I think it could be because of the shredded lettuce, as it tends to slide out. So the end result made my container look quite messy. All an all, the experience was great, staff are amazing and food is tasty. The price is a bit on the higher side, but not crazy high like other places. I would recommend this location.”
