Steve Foley, the owner of Audio Valley, comes equipped with an impressive portfolio of previous projects and his professionalism makes a world of difference in the flow of recording (both from workflow and a production standpoint).

The equipment is well maintained, the ambiance is inviting and comfortable. Every moment from when you step in the studio to when you have a finished product is unparalleled to other music production studios that I've had the pleasure of working with.

Overall, I would highly recommend any person (or band) that is looking to elevate the quality of your product, to come to Steve. He will not disappoint!

Then coming to audio Valley recording studio for the past 2 to 3 years Steve and his team are by far one of the kindest people. They are flexible they are very forward with their communication and some of my best music has been recorded here and mixed here. I can’t think this establishment enough for being a safe space for all different genres of music, different communities, and it really impacting me and like-minded artist in a lot of ways. Audio valley is by far the best studio space we have to offer in Ottawa and I wish them more expansion.

Very professional recording studio. Steve was able to squeeze me in for a quick vocal session that I needed before a deadline. There are two studio rooms - I only needed the Smaller Room B which was large enough! I recorded with Daniel who was very knowledgeable and quick with the edits! Sound quality and mix down were great! Looking forward to more sessions!

A Huge Thank You to Steve Foley!

As part of my daughter’s wedding plans, she arranged for me to record at Audio Valley Studios. As a Dad, I was excited with the plans to escort her down the aisle, accompanied by a guitar song that I pre-recorded. As well, as a second song that would be recorded and played as part of the bridal party entrance.

A very special moment in our lives, I hoped that I could appropriately deliver on this significant undertaking. Having never been to a studio, I didn’t know what to expect and was particularly nervous if I could step up to the plate. I worried if it would sound nice for the wedding.

My nervousness and apprehensions were quickly put to rest as Steve immediately put my mind at ease, reassuring me and helping me feel very comfortable in this unfamiliar environment. Through his professionalism, his outstanding talents and knowledge of his craft, I instantly knew I was in in good hands as he encouraged me and built my confidence, explaining and guiding me through the process.

Steve’s attention to every detail as he meticulously set up the gear and microphones, ensured a quality sound capture. His keen ear coached me through timing and tuning adjustments. His suggestions on volume and texture modifications hit the mark. Steve’s superb musicianship, expert recording skills, technical tips and sound advice, great ideas and suggestions, and of course, wonderful humour, took it all to another level.

Once Steve completed the initial recording, he produced the final version and enhanced the songs by adding and playing background instrumentation. His incredible mixing and musician skills made the song complete and full by richly complimenting my guitar playing. He truly worked in his magic to produce wonderful renditions for the wedding.

Steve created two amazing songs and exceeded everything that I had hoped for. The recordings brought tears to my daughter’s eyes. Heartfelt feedback from a very happy girl (and Dad) which speaks directly to the talents of Steve Foley.

Steve’s personal approach, dedication, and extensive sound engineer experience and musical talents made for an exciting and fun experience. Everything materialized so smoothly. The songs were a wonderful addition to the wedding and we were very thrilled with the results. So much care went into putting the songs together and the recordings will always remain a keepsake.
