Very nice local market, with fresh produce, cosmetic products, art, jewelry, etc., as a new vendor, it feels quite friendly, it is next to a trans Canada trail, so you can walk your pooch and get some local goodies at the same time
I enjoyed it but not as many vendors as I'd hoped on my first visit. Perhaps there's usually more action when there isn't a pandemic! Will come back to check out once things go back to a bit more normal.
Lots of variety and very friendly vendors. Fresh vegetables, herbs, maple products, Indian food and spices, handicrafts, baking, local honey and homemade jams to name a few items. Most have tap pay but a few require cash. Rustic Barn is very cute. Quitters cafe is now open and a short walk to enjoy coffee and a treat after shopping.
Going to the market is one of the highlights of my week! Great people, great products, and great atmosphere. Try to get there early, because some items tend to go quickly!
At the Barn is a great idea. But the timing is not the best. There are only a small handful of suppliers but the quality is top notch. All items are local and super fresh. Some even offer to bring special orders if requested. It is a great way to support the little local farmer or supplier. Running this on a Saturday or Sunday in the afternoon during the summer would allow it to be larger and bring in more buyers.
