“World Tea House is a bubble tea shop inside the Green Fresh Supermarket. It has some unique drinks that I haven't seen at other shops. I got the Chestnut Pearl Milk Tea and I liked how it had real chestnut puree in it, along with golden tapioca pearls. I got my mom the Taro Fresh Milk with Taro Balls and it had real taro pieces in it, as well as chewy taro balls. The milk in the milk tea is powder and not fresh milk. They have some drinks with fresh milk though (like the one I got or my mom). Wish they had an option to have fresh milk instead of powder in the milk teas. Overall, drinks were good. Looking forward to trying other flavours :)”

“First time I tried this place a couple weeks ago I loved it so so so much. Their fish tacos is to die for. Today I took the shrimp and Al pastor and I can assure you it’s the best thing you’ll try in Ottawa. I had never eaten shrimp tacos before. The lady working there is super nice too. I took off 1 start because one time I made an online order and they said it would take 25 min but I got there and it wasn’t ready. In total it took an hour for the order to be ready.”

“Was looking for a decent breakfast place in Ottawa and came across this place. Hesitated at first but decided to go for it anyway. The place seemed a little dated and very 80s style. However… big however.. once I got over my disco fears, they offered a wonderfully cooked breakfast for half the price other sleeker joints. The staff were super friendly, the service was quick and plenty of street parking wax available. They have all the usual breakfast specials and also serve lunch, especially smoked meat sandwiches. I recommend you give it a try.”

“We were craving some Chinese food and decided to try a new place open since Oct last year called Ruby House Chinese Food. They are located on Montreal rd, near Vanier Parkway (in front of Friends Bingo). We were very satisfied! The eggrolls were crunchy and full of stuffing, the fried rice taste good, the spare ribs had a good amount of meat, the chicken wings were crispy and the chicken balls had a fluffy batter. They even use real bacon slices 🤤 the mozrella sticks were what youd expect from a pizza place. Pretty decent. They only issue is it is quite pricey but its definitely worth it for a treat”

“The food is decent, except for their BBQ chicken is just purchased from Metro and sold $10 more than the Metro sticker price. Their pricing in general isn't as good as it used to be. Service has definitely taken a hit even before the pandemic. Depending on who answers the phone, they might accuse you of only ordering pizza just for the free drinks. Their drivers have also never been very nice. They take tips for themselves without asking if you need change back. As well, they just generally aren't very smart. In one instance, the driver dropped the coins through the porch then left only to return three hours later and ask for the difference. While you can do worse than Marya Pizza, you can absolutely do better and should.”

They have a great selection of items and you can fill your cart with a week's worth of groceries and end up with a bill half as much as you'd pay at most other grocery stores. My only criticism is sometimes the fresh produce area, specifically the vegetables like lettuce look quite small and wilted on a regular basis. But the prices here as a whole negate that. If you want to save money and get a whole bunch of groceries look no further.”
