“Ottawa's pedestrian only street adds a nice touch to the friendly confines around Parliament Hill. Filled with shops, restaurants, and protesters last time we went, they are still Canadian protesters though and are polite and friendly. No doubt there are some very far right folks here but I'd like to think not everyone is and are just tired of this now two year long pandemic. We saw some harassment of press crew which was very sad to see in our Canada but for the most part they left us alone. Hoping to an end to all this soon so businesses on Sparks get to go on again and normal comes back.”
