The New Rideau Restaurant & Castle View Fine Dining

Just wanted to say how impressed we all were with the buffet, we celebrated our mother’s 75th birthday and had an amazing spread of food. The variety of food satisfied everyone in our group and the service was top notch. Thanks for a great brunch. Highly recommend The New Rideau Restaurant .

Me and My wife live in the area; 2x a month we like to go out to fine dining places and treat ourselves. Where we live; there are very few fine dining places; we stumbled on this place by chance. We normally goto the brigadoon. Our service from the 2 servers was impeccable; the food was fantastic and the owner/ chef himself came out to ensure we enjoyed our meal. They also gave us 2 complimentary digestive shots; which I guess is done in Italy- very nice. Their prices were competitive with that of fine dining- more affordable than the brigadoon; mind you when we go out for fine dining; we don't really care about the price. My only constructive feedback would be that the ambience could be improved in the fine dining section. Perhaps some classy music; yellow lighting as opposed to white lighting; perhaps bringing some of the charm of italy into it with some stucco and brick walls- just a personal preference when going out somewhere for an experience

Wonderful food and amazing service - Recommend making a reservation. Pietro is wonderful and cares about his food and his customers, he brought us an appetizer as well as an aperitif for no extra cost! We brought a 6 yr old and they even made a smaller portion menu item for them.
