  Bob came over the same day I called. The remote for my fireplace wasn’t working. He did everything he could but could not get it to work. He followed up with me on a few occasions with ideas, but with no success. On his third follow up, he informed me that he may have found the solution and the right remote rely box, as they all look the same and only operate certain units. I purchased his model suggestion on amazon and amazingly it worked. I had all but given up on it but Bob followed up on his own time and provided me with a solution. I am very satisfied. What more can I say. Great service. Thanks Bob!

  I called Robert last evening at 5pm and he answered immediately. He was at my house first thing the next morning with his van and tools and got right to work. He listened to my explanation and carefully and methodically started to work on my gas fireplace that had not worked for several months. It was not an easy task but he got it to work without having to replace any parts (which would have cost several hundred dollars). He was polite, professional and very knowledgeable. He even called me that evening to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I highly recommend Robert.

  Our fireplace glass (3 sided) went black within a few hours on a cold afternoon. We called Rob the next morning and luckily he was able to perform a service call that same day. He was upfront about his rates and his suspicions about what was causing the problem. On site he took the time to investigate the source, explain what had happened and what to watch for in future, and then he fixed it. Afterwards he cleaned the soot and reassembled the fireplace to new condition. It's nice and toasty warm again less than 24 hours after we first discovered the problem. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend SHC to others and Rob will be our go to guy for any future service requirements we might have.

  Amazing service! We were so close to giving up and buying a new fireplace when our neighbour gave us Rob's card. Within an half hour, our fireplace was completely fixed, cleaned and has a nicer look thanks to him reorganizing the logs. Thank you Rob!

  Excellent service - efficient and fast and went the extra mile. My gas fireplace needed a clean bill of health so I could put it on the market to sell. Rob gave it the tender and loving care it needed so it was fully functional and spruced up to give it the curb appeal it needed. Thanks Rob
