(August 6, 2019, 5:48 pm)Great walk for the family! Trails are well marked, and very well groomed. The location is a bit hard to get to but we took the voyageur and old miner's trail around the island. Very flat with a few nice views of the Ottawa River.
(July 1, 2019, 5:36 pm)Good, easy hike with the dogs (on a leash). The bugs were awful on some trails.
Note: tick infected with Lyme disease found here. There was a post about it on display at the park entrance. Be careful!
(April 14, 2019, 12:51 pm)I love this place. Some of my happiest memories as a child are fishing and hiking at Morris Island with my dad. So many nice fish caught there as well as about a million sun fish :)
Now I drag my husband there to go kayak fishing every chance I get. Unfortunately the parking isn't free anymore :(
