I’ve had both of my children under the care of the East Ottawa midwives and have had the pleasure of being cared for by Grace Levesque, Lyanne Pinto and Melanie Street. Each of these women are exceptional at their work, and lovely people.

Thank you all so much for everything you do! You were the most amazing cheerleaders during the rough times in pregnancy and labour!

I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience delivering two healthy babies in the span of two years with East Ottawa Midwives. The first time we delivered at the hospital (with Grace and Melanie Page) and the second (with Grace) at the Birthing Centre. Grace is the best human I have ever met in my life! Not only is she a knowledgable healthcare professional, she is a compassionate person who had our best interests at heart throughout our entire experience. From the moment we met her, we were floored at the level and quality of care provided to us. My husband was out of the country for most of our appointments with our first, but Grace was so supportive of facetiming him in for all our sessions with her so that he could experience each milestone of our pregnancy despite our circumstances. She took her time to patiently answer all of our questions, made us feel so empowered to deliver naturally (even though I have a low pain tolerance, she was encouraging, helped us through and we successfully gave birth vaginally and naturally!). Both our pregnancy, birthing and postpartum experiences were positive and quite incredible, all thanks to Grace’s care, patience, support and assurances. She felt like a close friend more than anything. We were so sad leading up to my last appointment with her, we just didn’t want to part ways. I will scream her name at the top of my lungs if anyone asks me for a midwife recommendation!

Melanie Page was part of our healthcare team as a student midwife with our first pregnancy and we had such a wonderful experience with her as well! She always made us feel so comfortable and was extremely knowledgable about all our options throughout her care. She is now a fully practicing midwife with East Ottawa Midwives and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat!

My wife and I had both of our children delivered with Grace Lévesque from East Ottawa Midwives. Grace is an incredibly talented and experienced midwife who is just flat out an exceptional human being. We cannot stress enough how amazing, caring and learned Grace is. She goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. Beyond just providing high quality medical care, Grace is an experienced teacher who truly cares about the family she is working with. Her attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems made our experience positive and rewarding. Bottom line: Grace is incredible and don't hesitate to book her :)

As a first time mom, I was scared and had all the questions in the world. My midwife had all of the answers. I would chose the east Ottawa midwifes over and over and have recommended them to several of my pregnant friends. I delivered in the hospital and it felt so nice to have a choice with my labor and delivery. Forever grateful

I was assigned with Martha. She was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Each of our appointments went wonderful. Good thing I never had to wait for my next appointment to get to know about results of ultrasound or blood work. She had called me in advance for the results. I find everyone working there very kind. My first pregnancy went wonderful due to the experienced staff like Martha.
