Mandarin Ogilvie Restaurant

I’ve been coming here for ages and it has great Chinese/Thai food with Dim Sum 7 days a week. The staff are very warm and friendly like extended family.
Some of our favourite dishes are crispy beef, salt and pepper squid (spicy!!), sticky rice, shrimp siu mai, Thai dessert (made with taro root) it is so delusions and only made on the weekend.

I went to this place many times. Regular here for so many years. Always delicious and good service!

Every time I go here it’s always a great time! The staff are so friendly, they make you feel like family. The food is always delicious, and in my opinion they have the best Dim sum in the city! I’ve tried other dishes as well such as the beef with lemongrass, and the crispy noodles and everything has always been served fresh and full of flavour!! I love it here, and will continue to back for a fun time with my girls.

I found the service here to be adequate although a little bit slow at times. I got the car was decent and I found the space to be fairly clean all the tables could use a bit of work. The food wasn't actually the greatest and I have had Chinese food that is significantly better for lower price.

I think that's what it actually comes down to, the fact that it's quite expensive here for what is offered. It would be nice if the quality of the food was higher and the flavors tasted a bit more authentic. I also had to remind my server a few times to bring items that we ordered.
