Homewood Suites by Hilton Ottawa Kanata

With our son. We got a suite. Very roomy. Nice quiet, accommodating hotel. A definite return when in area.

Spacious rooms and great for families. Receptionist very attentive and friendly. Free parking but if no space in front, you have to park at a nearby free open top garage but have to negotiate steps. Location near a small shopping mall and many box stores including Walmart.

I've been staying here for the past two weeks and the rooms are amazing. Super big (especially if you stay in the room near the ice machine...and the ice machine isn't loud at all) couch with pull out bed, full size fridge, 2 stove top burners, microwave and dish washer...you get all the utensils you need to cook a meal. They also offer free breakfast. I haven't yet tried the breakfast but will be trying it soon. Staff is very friendly as well. The area is very nice and quiet but close to grocery stores and restaurants. Its also right off the highway making it easy for me to get downtown in about 15 mins depending on traffic. I'm also staying here during Covid and being immune compromised, I was a bit scared to be in hotels but their policies are very good and the hotel is very clean.

Overall the rooms are what you would expect from a Hilton Chain. It was clean for the most part and served well for a good night's rest while travelling on the road. Staff were helpful and accommodating.
