(February 2, 2019, 11:56 pm)We're from Gatineau but were in the area and needed a good hockey store.
Went in for a new goalie stick & skate sharpening for my boy. It was a bad experience initially because the employee responsible for sharpening put my son's skate in the auto machine, which ended up breaking the blade.
He asked if it was ok to replace the blade and holder, but ended up offering me another skate they happened to have there, same model and size. Problem solved.
Two other employees helped my son and I to choose and fit his very first hockey stick in a very professional and knowledgeable manner.
They obviously didn't charge for the sharpening and ended up giving us a discount on the stick. Great customer service.
Kudos to the 10:30 AM Saturday crew.
(February 2, 2019, 8:36 pm)Went in looking for skates for 2 young children and adults. Staff was very helpful and though they initially said we weren’t shopping at a great time (low on stock) they did have pairs for everyone. They were also helpful in telling us what we should look for in a skate when shopping for the children in the future and were conscious of quality and value.
(December 19, 2018, 3:47 am)Helpful staff. Willing take the time to help find the right item and price (mentioned price match available which is nice to have that volunteered)... Did find that there was a limited supply of used gear (which is kinda their shtick)
