I have been going to Rubys for more than 20 years. I do not live in Ottawa anymore... when I visit I make sure to order Rubys for dinner. Their egg rolls are the BEST!!! Rubys is one of the staple Chinese restuarant in Ottawa.
I only eat their egg rolls however I believe they're the best egg rolls in Ottawa. It's a really small take out place. There's no place to sit down to eat. There is a lot of parking. Overall go here definitely for the egg rolls. Anything else I wouldn't be able to tell you how it is...
This small spot is truly the most amazing place to get Chinese food. They have a vast array of different products and food to order and some amazing combination plates which are thoroughly awesome. The egg rolls are the best in the city - and the counter staff are exceptional, courteous, helpful and pleasant. My parents have been to this establishment many times and my wife asked for some Chinese food and I decided to go there and she was so happy I did! Try it you wont be disappointed.
This is the best Chinese take out place. All food was amazing and they were still hot when we got home. You need to try their egg roll as it is amazing!
