We were very fortunate to deal with a gracious young man Derek Lemelin, Who was filling in for another representitive that was ill.Derek went beyond the call of duty .He had been advised that our family visit would be straight forward but due to our family having many plots and burials over decades things had become confusing to all concerned .Mr Lemelin who l am sure was expecting an hour visit spent more than 3 hours even missing his lunch and rewriting paperwork plus making sure all involved had updated versions..He has also since this visit had the family back to discuss our interest in the Tranquility Garden and finish up the paperwork on an opening and closing of my personal plot l purchased in 1982 along with 3 others.. My family and I attended the ceremony honoring the Firefighters Wall of Memories. My father's name was one of the many names read. This was an extremely touching ceremony that was an emotional and proud moment for us. We would like to thank the staff, firstly who organised this event, and those who worked such a tremendous event. My family was very proud to attend and honor these Firefighters.
